Zo is aangetoond dat bloed voor maar liefst 98% identiek is aan verdund zeewater. Het enige verschil is dat zeewater een extra molecuul magnesium nodig heeft en bloed een extra molecuul ijzer (vandaar dat bloed rood is). Wanneer een zeewaterverdunning echter in contact komt met bloed wordt het magnesium omgezet in ijzer waardoor de omzetting 100% is.
